Antimicrobial action of Saviotan Feed in broilers<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Saviotan\u00ae<\/sup> Feed<\/strong>, tested as a food additive, has been shown to be very effective in the prevention of necrotic enteritis at doses of between 1 and 5 kg per tonne of feed. Its efficacy has been experimentally tested under critical conditions, infecting the broilers artificially with Clostridium perfringens and Eimeria spp. Even in these extreme conditions, the test carried out 25 days after infection showed the absence of severe intestinal lesions starting from 0.5% dosages of Saviotan\u00ae<\/sup> Feed in the ration.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”72px”][\/qode_elements_holder_item][\/qode_elements_holder][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

    Cholesterol reduction in the egg yolk<\/h2>\n

The test lasted 5 weeks, comparing two breeds (Mugellese and Leghorn) and two diets (with and without tannin). In the group with Saviotan\u00ae<\/sup> Feed, cholesterol was significantly reduced in the two breeds, more clearly in the Leghorn (-17%, against -9% in the Mugellese).
